expanded access and availability to meals for seniors
stronger support for family caregivers
increase in overall and transportation fundingShow this thread
The bill also includes my bipartisan amendment to ensure that programs serving seniors are ready to respond to outbreaks or other public health emergencies.

The Underwood amendments take money away from needy seniors. That money should be and is intended to be used to benefit seniors directly with food, transportation, and other elderly needs. Money for public health emergencies and disease outbreaks do not benefit seniors.
