Respectfully, @live4lali has aggressively addressed this issue in IL for 10 yrs. Congress would need to literally reform about 6 systems at once to do what you’re suggesting...or they could follow the data and flood communities with naloxone, NEPs, Treatment, housing, and hope.

Unfortunately legitimate patients are paying the price of mis-aimed crackdowns, not pill-pushers or Pharma.

@RepUnderwood Addressing supply is necessary, however, and I always go back to this. We need to address the why's and demand. Addressing mental health, trauma, and lack of services for people to tackle those things in health affirming ways vs looking for ways to escape the pain.
