One reason for the rise in suicides is the veterans (and also chronic pain patients) are being tapered & cut off opioid meds. Even if they show no signs of addiction & have been stable for years, & even when other treatments are inneffective.

Part of the reason is because military fathers like me are raked through the coals in the court system and left with nothing. Left to struggle and drown with their hands tied behind their backs.
