Thank’s Rep. Underwood. We must make it possible for children who need asst to get higher edu, & Pell Grants are a vital means to an end. It’s important that the wealthy’s legacy grants & family money are balanced out, else we have a society w/only the rich 1% w/edu free to them.

As a single mom, I got through college on Pell Grants, then got my boys through college on Pell Grants. We all went on to be high dollar tax payers. What an investment!

Decades ago I was a single parent on welfare & a pell grant helped me go to nursing school. I needed a little help for a brief period.Everything changed because the American tax payer invested in me. I was able to maintain a stable productive life because I could go to school.

We gotta get our country's future work force through at least an associate's degree. The financial burden has grown too high and it keeps rising. We need an educated citizenry. Education is not a privilege, it's a necessity. We can't deny our future leaders a higher education.

Please address student loan repayment relief. Thank you for your hard work in representing the taxpayers.

What about student loan forgiveness or reduction for the millions struggling under the unbearable weight of loans they'll never be able to pay back.
