Agreed. As an NIU alum who had many classes in Cole Hall, years prior to the shootings, it confirms that these senseless attacks aren't just isolated incidents that happen elsewhere. Time to get this done, as GOP thoughts and prayers ain't working.
It’s been 11 years since the shooting at NIU. Since then we’ve seen gun violence in elementary schools, concerts, churches, & Parkland one year ago on the same day. Enough. I came to Congress to act. That starts with #HR8. Everyone who buys a gun needs a background check.

100% Agree. There should be at least the same eduction, training, licensing, documentation and insurance requirements to own/use/sell a gun as there are to own/drive/sell a car.
