What a joke. The constituents weren't allowed in. Room for 41 people?

You cannot be serious! That was a joke, not a meeting. You are too scared to talk to your constituents.

Too bad you blew a great opportunity to actually connect with the people you supposedly represent.

Do you realize how incredibly insulting it is to wall yourself off with armed officers from people who just want to ask you questions?

Most of those people were older women, who are my friends. To see that wall of armed men, separating you from them, made me so angry.

As if my friends are intimidating or scary to you. It makes no sense. These are the people who pay your salary with their taxes.

The least you can do is treat them with respect and kindness. They drove hours just to meet you! And you act as if they are scary criminals.

Trent, you're better than this. I am shocked that you of all people wouldn't want to simply face your constituents and hear them out.

I know you and your values. You have an opportunity to be a leader for a changing MS that a lot of people don't want to see changing.
