Some in the public are going to “be lead to believe” a great amount of things, true and false. Designating it an impeachment inquiry has already forced the administration to put out information that was being stonewalled in a way previous investigations hadn’t.

It’s put Trump on the defensive, and while that comes with its own dangers, dangers we are witnessing in real time and dangers we aren’t, what’s clear is this has been a positive towards uncovering the truth.
