As the House and Senate prepare to go to conference on the #FY20NDAA, I hope both chambers can ultimately support the military force provision that reaffirms Congress’ power to declare war.

Wow we actually agree on something as long as you mean none emergency condition yes Congress should hold that responsibility but they should also be held accountable for those decisions but the case of an attack the President should have some power to make calls in a emergency

As a veteran, I agree. However, this current congress would allow innocents to needlessly die just to do nothing more than put a block in front of our President. IF it could be done quickly and without partisanship, then yes.
