I am heartbroken to hear of the tragic shootings in Texas and Ohio. Thank you to the first responders for their quick actions. This is not who we are as a country. Far too many families have been torn apart because of senseless actions like these. We must do better.

I'm glad you agree that you need to do better. I hope this is an apology for your vote on HR8 and HR1112, and speaks to your intention to speak out for sensible gun safety regulation in the future. Otherwise, you're just mouthing empty words and we need a leader in this district

Enact gun reform legislation! Ban assault weapons! Pass universal background checks ! Ban high capacity magazines! That would be a wonderful start to reducing the tragic shootings. Right to life should supersede gun rights!
