    In 2016, more Americans were arrested for marijuana possession than all violent crimes combined. I believe no person should be sentenced to a lifetime of hardship because of a marijuana arrest. (3/4)

    Today I urged Leadership to include a provision in the upcoming government funding bill to protect our hospital-based nursing schools. Nurses have been the backbone of our healthcare system. We need to ensure schools that train them have enough funding to continue to operate.
