Taking self-term-limiting pledges, in the absence of actual term limits, is the surest way to end up with a swamp full of swamp creatures. Occasionally you get a swamp creatures who promise to self-term-limit in their elections.... they just break their pledges. #itsagimmick

Since you're running for your fourth term I'm curious if this will be your last? Or do you not believe in term limits yourself?

I don't want to see you go, just thought I heard you were a fan of term limits in the swamp series, could be missing remembering though

I am a cosponsor of the term limit bill but I haven’t self-term-limited, for the reasons noted above. Also, I would say, people will be sorely disappointed at the problems that will persist even if term limits pass. It’s just not a silver bullet.
