Today in Kentucky, we’re witnessing firsthand what happens when state legislatures are able to change elections laws without pre-clearance from the DOJ.
#HR4 would also prohibit known voter suppression tactics, including cuts to polling locations.
Fewer than 200 polling places are open for voters in Kentucky’s primary today, about 3,500 fewer than in a typical year and in a primary where turnout is expected to be higher than usual.

McConnell has not allowed a single voting protection or voter reform passed by the House to come to a vote on the Senate floor. Even if there are elections, and that’s in question, why would we trust them?
