A first big step would be to replace Betsy DeVos with someone who knows something about education, and who supports public education. She is a disaster.
Public schools have a purpose and a role to play not just for individual students, but for communities across the nation. Public education has always been the great equalizer in the U.S. We must do everything we can to keep it that way. #PublicSchoolsWeek

I agree with this in spirit, but the funding mechanism for public school (property taxes) needs to change if it's expected to be a true equalizer.
