We're in Day 2 of the #TrumpShutdown. How did we get here? Because House and Senate Republicans refuse to do their jobs.pic.twitter.com/3TknGk7Rgk

No Beth, they don't. There was nothing in the bill that Dems opposed. They couldn't get their way of attaching (unprepared) DACA to a spending bill. So they voted NO. They played politics, pure politics. That's all.

They absolutely do. If they had united then I'd say you have a point, but they couldn't even get their own members in line so, nope. #TrumpShutdown

You, sir, are a disgrace to your office! Which party voted against funding our brave soldiers and medical care for 9 million children? Who supports the invasion of illegals to politically gain illegal votes? #LiarLieu #ShumerShutdown #ReleaseTheMemo

Here’s video of McConnell refusing to vote on a bill last night from Democrats that would’ve ensured members of our military are paid during the shutdown. I’ve never seen anyone care less about our military than the Republican Party. #TrumpShutdown pic.twitter.com/sXIEniPsam

You know what’s Hilarious...the character, Superman, is an illegal immigrant from Krypton, who believed in humanity and the American dream. He then turned into the US’s symbol of hope in the comics. 😂🤣
