Trump needs to understand that words matter. Kim Jong Un is a dangerous & ruthless dictator & the U.S. has a responsibility to its allies & the world to lead w/ measured restraint. Instead, it feels like we’re in a playground fight that could end in colossal death & destruction
Doubtful Kim Jong Un really wants nuclear war, either. Rather than appear weak & cowardly in the face of such disrespect, and risk a coup, he might fight to save face. The U.S., and South Korea who will receive the brunt of a nuclear attack, have nothing to gain and much to lose.
While Trump was touting the size of his nuclear button, North & South Korea made arrangements to communicate directly with each other bypassing the US. Trump may have the bigger button, but Kim Jong Un has the better brain and knows how to think & act strategically.
