Help me understand why they close coal plants in one area, putting people out of jobs....and then propose to dig for coal in other areas? The whole excuse for closing them was environmental damage...So destroying Escalante (yes it is destroying it), somehow is a good thing?!!!

Trump admn denies climate change and the need to protect the environment and natural resources. He's appointed people to the dept of interior and EPA that will allow oil and mining to "develope" and profit and claim it's providing energy independence.
