A lot of talk about #UBI (#UniversalBasicIncome), which I'm in favor of for the short term. Long term, do you have any thoughts on #GMI (#GuaranteedMinimumIncome)?
It costs less, is far more just & ensures a baseline standard of living for all.

Instead of the failed "Trickle Down" that favors the wealthy go with "Bubble Up". Money in the hands of consumers who will spend it on goods and services instead of stock buy backs.

I understand the EDD is doing its best under impossible circumstances but their current website is a disaster. They don’t answer basic questions about gig workers, do not answer email questions within their own timeframe, and it’s virtually impossible to reach them by phone.
