Bravo on this next step in the right direction. I was very disturbed to learn that 18-21yr olds w/o homes are not allowed in the family shelters bcuz they’re too old & not allowed in adult shelters bcuz too young. We must fill this service gap & build more affordable housing.
The opening of Venice's new Pacific Sunset #ABridgeHome shelter in #CA33 is welcomed news. That’s great news! Yes, we need to build shelters in the cheapest areas of our county, or collaborate w/ many other counties to build villages along the 10 and the 5fwy where land is way cheaper. 500k a bed here in our SM district is way too expensive.
