It wasn't silly to complain about wasted taxpayer money when Obama played golf. Which he did a hell of a lot less than Trump, and not at his own properties where he profited from it.
There is absolutely no way that he's not coming out WAY ahead of his presidential salary and his probably getting a tax break from donating his salary. Where is he donating his salary to anyway? Probably the Trump Foundation 
I'm 100% sure the Repubs would have the exact opposite opinion had a Dem president personally profited like Trump has/is in this this way.
