  Alcohol + Tobacco are NOT in the Controlled Substance Act? Yet Marijuana is schedule 1, technically more dangerous than (illicit) Fentanyl? Bc they NEVER distinguish between Prescription v.   Please. Cannabis is my only pain med and the only thing that works to relieve the symptoms of hell #akathisia. One of the complications of akathisia is suicide. I believe them. I’m lucky. I live in Washington State.

  As a fibromyalgia & arthritis patient, cannabis could help my pain, anxiety and insomnia. Even my Dr. is on board! After years of opioids +anti-inflammatory meds, we need new options. One can purchase gallons of liquor- but not 1 gram of marijuana. =Insanity. Ty!

  I backed decriminalization of marijuana during the early 1970s when I was a student lobbyist for the community college students association. We were young and were able to get one bill out of committee. It failed on the floor vote.
