What are they doing about medical equipment? Why on earth would a CPAP or BiPAP require a prescription? Anyone ever overdosed from one? Requiring a prescription just keeps the cost high & protects manufacturers. We know the FDA protects the industry it's supposed to regulate.

Insurances require a prescription to cover payments. Without a prescription they will not pay for equipment. Without a prescription that includes pressure settings based on the patient's apnea/hypopnea index & lowest oxygen saturation, patients may not receive the best care.

Funny how the most important line ever to be spoken in the 20th century was: "Follow the money."

I'm disabled, waiting on disability to go through, zero income. I have Medicaid, but I have 1 prescription it doesn't cover. It costs $98 a month. So, in other words, I have to suffer. This is wrong. No person should have to suffer. Period. Please help.
