Iran is a malignant state actor. If it is true that the Iranian government is responsible for the attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, then Iran must be held accountable. @POTUS wants to use military force against Iran (or any nation) he must first make his case to Congress & seek authorization. It’s time to repeal the 2001 AUMF so this POTUS & future admins can’t use shaky legal footing to drag us into conflict w/o proper authorization. (3/3)Show this thread

Since you're in a position to know, I'm curious: What is the rationale that explains why Iran would attack their allies, Japanese and Norwegian tankers, while Japan's Shinzo Abe is literally in Iran, and voicing support for their nuclear program? Doesn't quite add up, does it?
