This year, numerous state legislatures—comprised primarily of men—decided that they knew better than women and their doctors about what’s best for their care. They don’t!

This week we’ve seen an escalation of aggressive attacks on the rights of women. Multiple state legislatures have put forth and voted on legislation that severely limits or eliminates a woman’s right to have an abortion.

Women are entitled to make medical decisions on their own, without the interference of their government. Denying them that opportunity is an assault on their fundamental rights. We must continue to raise our voices and oppose efforts to curb a woman’s right to choose.

Correction Ted. These states are forcing women to donate their organs to sustain the life of a [potential] third party, then denying women access to safe medical care. That’s not freedom. Women are no longer free. We are not equal under the law. We are not safe.

Can we have those states criminalize a natural parent abandoning single mothers and sentence them to be a parent, serve jail time, pay child support, and contribute to a public welfare fund for foster kids as restitution?
