Well handled, Congressman!

Let's take the who out of this because it will cloud the discussion and I am truly curious about this issue because I want the Constitution upheld. This situation is really a payment for services and not a gift, no?

Thank you
@RepTedLieu for practicing an odd behavior in D.C. called “ethics”, aka refusing to violate gov’t rules or commit a crime simply bc ‘everyone else does it’! I’ve yet to find the Republican brave enough to call Trump on his BS. -
I had to be extremely familiar with Sarbanes-Oxley laws when I was in the corporate world. It burns my toast that I had to dot my I’s and cross my T’s while the Trump Org was exempt from such oversight. Ethics are important and can make or break biz and employees livelihoods.

Thank you Rep. Lieu. (you are my Rep.
) Perhaps I misunderstood but isn't there a clause in the lease that should have caused the lease to be terminated once he was elected? - 2 more replies

Excellent response. The American people are so proud of you and the integrity your party is showing. (And I was raised a Republican.)
