I love you for addressing the facts of mental health and gun deaths and the extreme protection order. I hate when mental health is the go-to when a mass shooting happens. Unfortunately, SOMETIMES that is the case and those people should not have guns. If just for their OWN safety

And I don’t say this as no one should have guns. I’m speaking as someone who DOES have a mental illness. I would NEVER turn a gun on anyone else. Myself?? Different story. Used to be in CA, if you were institutionalized, you couldn’t have a for 5yrs. & it flagged you after that
