Our hearts go out to the #CapitalGazette victims and their families. Congressional inaction on gun violence prevention has allowed U.S. mass shootings to continue to increase. It shouldn’t take another preventable tragedy to remind us of the grave consequences of failing to act.

When the president of the United States keeps saying the news media is an enemy of the people (and thus the state), and others are calling for journalists to be executed, regardless of actual cause.. There's only a small handful of things to stop the attacks on the media.

Hey Ted, you make sure you're encouraging actual progressives to run for office, and in their election efforts. It's the only way to get the people we do desperately need into office so that they and you can craft and pass laws to solve this and many other problems.
