@NT5CC, the drop is due to establishment of a Countywide Veterans Benefit Advocacy Program, redesigning VA programs to target chronically homeless veterans, enhancing direct-service staff collaboration, and coordinating VA housing resources through the Coordinated Entry System.
Thrilled to see recent numbers from @LAHomeless confirming an 18% drop in veteran homelessness in LA County. This proves that smart and compassionate policies work.
