Attorney-client privilege doesn't exist if the attorney commits a crime to help the client. This has always been the same.

For instance if prosecutors believed a mob lawyer payed off a witness they could bring it to a judge and the judge would determine if they had enough probable cause. If they did he or she would sign off on a search warrant.

He doesn’t understand the law and has never tried. He is not as smart as he thinks he is (far from it) and likely more of a criminal than we think he is. Why else would he react as he did to legal action by the US attorney appointed by him?
