Please don't let those of us who suffer from extremely painful incurable diseases suffer in the process. We seem to be the people who are forgotten in all of this. If this continues you are going to have a suicide problem instead of an opioid problem.
Solving the #opioid crisis will take bipartisan collaboration. But the @WhiteHouse calling it the “#CrisisNextDoor” completely misses the mark. It’s not next door. It’s at all of our doorsteps and we need to be honest about that.

I work in emergency medicine. The DEA screwed up with their knee jerk reaction of reclassifying Hydrocodone. So, now all those that were addicted to it, get Heroin. Cheaper & easier to get.

A non-addictive replacement needs to be developed for ppl with intractable chronic pain. It can't just be banned or every patient attacked or targeted for using it. Ppl who have not experienced this type of pain have no idea how bad it is...help in a real way, an ALTERNATIVE
