This trend tracks with paychecks getting smaller over past few decades as student debt soars. Pretty hard to start a family when you’re deep in debt. We need to restore a uniquely American ideal: hard work means something. #FreedomToDreamhttps://twitter.com/conradhackett/status/975493718043226113 …

The cost of daycare and paying off student loans is crippling a generation from having families. This article is evergreen until something is done to address student debt and daycare costs.https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/money/2016/09/28/pf/child-care-costs/index.html …

Cut the financial links between commercial banking and universities and you'd go a long way toward reducing both college costs and student debt.

That chart can't be taken literally since people do live together as partners, they just don't get licenses to show it.

No that’s kind of the point. We don’t have the money to get married, and why would he want to marry into my massive debt.

My older son and his wife want to have children, but they both have too much student loan debt and daycare is too costly.

Not due to pay checks. Has more to do w/the falling morals in country. Look at sex exploiting films. If you can get the milk for free, why buy the cow? In other words, easier to stay uncommitted &have sex than be committed to ONE other person. Thank Hollywood, they glorify this.

I'm not disagreeing, however, this also represents how far we've come in regards to civil rights. I don't *need* to marry in order to support myself or have children, and that's a wonderful thing.

Trump only thinks he put more money into the working class middle class and yeah we got some money but this was not the way I wanted it with other people $1.50 a day more if that. He thinks companies will expand and hire more so wrong the Top 1% are the winners. The companies

As a small biz owner who has hired 2 addl employees just this year I KNOW you are wrong. My team gained bonuses, higher pay and we are expanding due to reform & removing restrictions. Biz up, we are all benefitting. I assure you, I'm not in the top 1%!
