No other industry, as far as I know, expects its employees to also serve as their security force. Imagine all White House employees armed with handguns instead of having Secret Service protecting the President.

Refocus the discussion. The Aurora theater victims would not have been saved by an armed teacher, the Pulse nightclub victims would not have been saved by an armed teacher, the Las Vegas victims would not have been saved by an armed teacher. Don't let them dictate the message.

Aurura gun free zone, pulse nightclub gun freezone

#NoGunsForTeachers Now, off topic, Epi pens should never, ever be locked up. They need to be readily accessible at all times. -

The 2nd amendment and standing militias were put in place against a tyrannical dictator and not a democracy. So, we should revisit the 2nd amendment and choose life over our liberties. In fact, I would venture to say that a standing militia in a democracy is terrorist org.

My late mother was a 3rd grade teacher. She was 5’ and maybe 90lbs. The thought of her packing heat in a classroom of rambunctious 8-yr-olds would be hilarious if it weren’t so disgustingpic.twitter.com/2jTIc8hL8V

Same scenario here!! When I hear ANYONE around me seriously discussing it, I look ‘Em in the eye (I’m looking way up, usually) and ask just WHO will I scare with a handgun?
