My mom is in one of those facilities. Alzheimer's has hit our family hard (my mom & her 3 sisters). The government has to support research with $$$!
Touring an Alzheimer’s memory care facility. If my generation doesn’t use our innovative talent and data resources to cure this and other diseases, what the hell is all of that worth? Time to do big.

Senate Rs just voted against a bill that would have funded research and assistance to family caregivers.

Aluminum has not been conclusively linked to Alzheimers...yet. The data is mixed and inconclusive. However you are correct that the focus should be on root cause and prevention! It's in my genes so it's very important to me to make sure i don't end up like my mother or grandmom.

So sad to think that we would be doing a lot more if we didn't have the Electoral College choosing our president. Medical & scientific research is another of the big reasons I voted for HRC.

It's a shame that Pfizer grabbed their cut of the tax scam then cried poor, saying they can't afford to continue Alzheimer's research. I feel so bad for Pfizer, don't you? If only Congress could give them a break ...
