This day was devastating. When the leaders, who allow gun lobbyists and groups, to let the blood of children blanket the soil of this country, it’s time to run them out of office. This should have happened years ago. #SandyHook

Heart still breaks when I read about #SandyHook but unfortunately, if reducing gun violence doesn’t include tax cuts, the GOP will not do anything.

In a far more decent country, the suffering of those who survived would be, at least in some small way, honored... honored by policy changes that would allow parents and other survivors to know their grievous losses produced *some* small good in the world.

I still can't think about Sandy Hook without crying and cherishing my kids even more.

We're still fighting for basic common sense. Period.

America's children deserve to live safe lives.

Sadly, if we don’t do something soon, we’ll be having an annual memorial of a major mass shooting every few weeks.
