When we look at the progress Europe has made on infrastructure and social services in the last 20 years, it really feels like USA has some catching up to do. We should be leading toward the 22nd century.

I love this idea. I think the Dems should start rolling out step-by-step infrastructure plans at state & Fed levels. "first we'll fix the potholes, but then we'll modernize transportation routes etc..".
