Just so we're clear, they tested milk she had pumped into a bottle, correct? Which is nasty and probably would contaminate the bottle.

Yes. Talking pumped milk. Not my wife. Watched a woman pulled out of my line.

what airport is this? Because this never happened when I was nursing. The TSA was just like "it's cool," when I traveled
-
All. I'm talking about pumped milk. Or even formula in a bottle. But seeing your pumped milk touched is not comfortable.

Nope. Flying solo today. But I notice it more now. Women pulled aside to have pumped milk tested.

My wife had a travel a lot for work after our son was born. She would get to airport over an hour earlier than normal to account for this

We were really dedicated to breatfeeding, but we also both had to work FT. Only want to keep it up was for her to pump/store.

and if you are nursing, (as I did) why do you have to carry bottles of breastmilk, anyway? I must be missing something.
-
Baby wasn't with her, so she pumped milk to keep up supply, returning home w/ it; is how I understood this.
