Rather than pursue individual companies, let's work toward making Election Day a holiday so everyone can stand in line to vote w/o penalty. Perhaps Columbus Day or Presidents' Day could be switched out? But, for now, kudos to @blueapron.

Unfortunately, every holiday just becomes another reason for the retail world to have sale. That puts way too many workers still having to work, and have trouble making it to the polls. I mean, even on Christmas the movie theaters are open.

I've given my crews 1/2 day with pay on election day for decades. Since Reagan. Proud Southern California Democrat.

Thank you! People in some Republican-run states need the whole day because of voting lines that commonly seem to be up to 8 hours long.

My employees and myself take it off as a paid holiday... It's that important ( though most are using mail in ballots as we voted for that as a MAJORITY in Michigan )
