We need a plan for eradicating white supremacy/racism from the ranks of the police forces nationwide and all levels of government. We’ve seen that they will still execute us on camera.
We need solutions, not just talk. I will be introducing legislation to condition federal COPS funding on every police department having:
Racial makeup of officers that matches community’s diversity
Every officer has body cam
De-escalation training
#BlackLivesMatter

You just hit. You and I both know the boys will be boys, protect each other no matter what mindset. The cop in MN had a record. That means his bosses knew, his fellow cops knew and instead of forcing him out, they covered for him.

Also, at least 50% of police MUST live in the communities they police, and walk the beat.

agreed! So they must be paid a living wage. Otherwise in many large cities, they can’t afford it.
