I don’t pretend to understand what it’s like to run a news org. But most of tonight’s coverage — across most stations — is focused on violence. Yet thousands in each city are marching peacefully for #GeorgeFloyd. Why not interview the peaceful protestors? They should be heard.

I’m not sure what coverage you were watching, but in Mpls you would have seen peaceful protesters who were being peaceful but defying the curfew coverage. Since non-peaceful infiltrators were among them (those who burned and pillaged shops the nights before), they were dispelled.

They covered the day time protests. Streamed online too. I saw positive things happening. Flint, Camden NJ and others. What happened was police aggressions. Many. They were live on air. Reporters in the middle of interviewing people and then rubber bullets. Police own this.

@RepSwalwell It’s PERFORMANCE unless you/those police stop the murders. Did you see in Fargo where police marched w/protestors by day & shot them at night?? Honestly, you are exhibiting white fragility w/this need to project ”solidarity.” We have no solidarity w/white supremacy. - 2 more replies
