Congressman, I don't think this is fair. The press is covering all facets of the #GeorgeFloydProtests--from his death at the knee of a police officer to the daytime protests to the official press conference to athletes and celebrities speaking out and to the nighttime unrests.

Thank you for responding. As I was saying, I was talking about last night’s coverage where only violence was shown for a solid 5+ hours. Which is a facet of this. But as violence occurred, 1000s were marched & never interviewed. Thanks for being on the front lines for the story.

Violence sells. Most news organizations are there for profits not spreading the news.

Seeing as much violence inflicted by the police on Americans exercising their right to protest is important. reporters being tear gassed, shot with rubber bullets, blinded, because Trump declared the press his enemy.

It might be because the police are deliberately firing on and pepper spraying the PRESS, at moments when there was no mistaking these were reporters and camera-people with bona fide credentials. All over the country.

Result of Djtrumpilstiskin's war on the press, I'm afraid.
