  Fuckin-A! Even with my pension as a teacher and my savings, Social Security just isn’t enough to make ends meet. I feel sorry for those folks who did not earn enough to put money away for retirement, and especially those who worked jobs where was no pension benefit!

  It is definitely not the time to undermine Social Security. Many who were counting on their 401ks to supplement their imminent retirement may have to rely on SS to survive. Cutting contributions to the fund is counterproductive.

  I am 60 YO, I have worked since I was in HS and paid into Social Security. It is not a government handout. I deserve the money I paid into SS.
