Ten cases came from one restaurant air conditioner. Yet Elaine Chao remains clueless about the need for filtering airplane air. I am told the virus is much smaller than HEPA. She is leaving them to deal with it however they like, which right now is apparently doing nothing.

Elaine whatever her job (so to speak) won’t be of any help...they have unrelated goals...

Covid 19 can spread airborne in closed spaces like airplanes. Research has shown spread in restaurants with AC even with social distancing maintained.

Actually, coronavirus needs a fluid to transport it, so it can be present in tiny aerosolized droplets of saliva, but not in large enough doses to make one sick. Its route is to accumulate on surfaces, get on your hands, and enter your mouth or nostril when your fingers go in.

I wrote a letter to Delta about this. Spacing is not enough, if they can provide headphones to all passengers, they can provide masks.
-
If new masks are not given to each passenger before getting on the plane, I won’t fly.

They also need to thoroughly wipe down the plane after each flight.
