An overlooked point: Trump has never had a fight he couldn't buy his way out of. He absolutely backs down.

That is true absolutely, but the thing that concerns me most is he is using the power and money of US to “buy” or extort what he wants ever since he took office. Most concerning is what evil he will perpetuate w the virus, and the 2020 election.
