SBA put out new contradicting guidelines today. All 1099 employees are now disqualified and have to apply on their own. Banks won’t accept applications if you don’t have a business account and lending product. Effectively removes them from the program. Underhanded and mismanaged.

Actually, you can get the money no matter what. You can only the loan FORGIVEN if you retain your employees for 8 weeks after you get the loan. It's a nice low-interest rate loan. No reason a scummy business can't grab the loan and fire everyone.
