. @RepSwalwell, I always agree with you but with all due respect, I will be unable to vote because my son has a compromised immune system and I can't risk exposure. I didn't know this was going to happen so I don't think I can use an absentee ballot at this point. Other options?

Very valid concern. And wishing you and your son good health. I think they should extend the absentee period for your family and any family like it.

Or we could just have a national agreement to let everyone vote by mail? But, of course, the very last thing Republicans want is everyone voting and every vote counted. It will mess up all the ways they plan to cheat.

It works great here in Oregon. Dems and Repubs all get to vote and have an equal length of time and opportunity to do so. (Imagine that!) Mail it back in or drop it off in a poll box. Usually we have like 2 weeks time to get it filled out and sent off.

They could issue mail in ballots out to registered voters not voted yet. That way all would have a chance to vote.

His plan is to do just that. Reopen absentee ballots and reschedule in person for June 2nd.

I agree as someone who has never voted for him but a fan of how he is handling this crisis.
