Once the crisis has passed, it might be a worthy subject of analysis to consider the question: when did the GOP begin to accumulate more than its fair share of dopes? Because one of the hallmarks of the era of Trump is that the dopes have reached critical mass.
Representative Mike Turner talks a lot, but he doesn't talk to his constituents. No town halls, in literally years.

I picture Dr. Fiona Hill putting him in a rear naked choke.
He would not like the 1960s. It was an amazingly exciting and progressive decade in many respects.
