I can report it was as bad as I feared. It was a Christmas Miracle that TSA did not greet us upon landing. Thanks for the advice on how to help the passengers around us weather the storm.

Both of our were AMPED out of this world by benadryl. And we learned it on a cross country flight. Buying a lot of drinks for those around is way easier.
