It's not that we don't care...it's that we don't think anything will happen. We're fatigued with 2 years of BS...

Fatigued or not, we have to fight back. We don't have a choice unless surrender is somehow palatable which it isn't for hundreds of us.

Start calling it “extortion” — I think that cuts through better than “quid pro quo”

I have been. Seems no one else will get behind it.

Stop with the euphemisms. "quid pro quo" is to EXTORTION like "falsehood" is to LIE. Our POTUS is openly engaged in BRIBERY and EXTORTION, is a PATHOLOGICAL LIAR and an ADMITTED SEXUAL PREDATOR, among other things. How anyone could vote for such a person is beyond me.

Also stop referring to “getting dirt.” The “dirt” has been debunked. It doesn’t exist. What they were more focused on was getting a PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT of investigations - even more than actual investigations. What they wanted was ELECTION INTERFERENCE.

Rumor is, trump also did it yrs ago when Ukraine was investigating manafort. After trump n attorney contacted Ukraine, Ukraine suddenly dropped investigation.
-
Yes, Gerry Connolly hinted they were investigating it in committee, and suggested "enterprising reporters" look into the javelin sales.https://www.rawstory.com/2019/11/maddow-connects-the-dots-trump-may-have-done-this-exact-thing-once-before-with-ukraine/ …
