We haven't had a mass shooting in a while however within the last week or so an innocent women was shot and killed in her own home by a Ft Worth police officer while she was playing video games with her nephew. Police violence is gun violence too.
Just because we haven't been gripped by a mass shooting in recent days, doesn't mean the Senate is off the hook. People are dying every day in communities across the country because of our lax gun laws. Don't let @senatemajldr get away with doing nothing. #EndGunViolence

Also because of gang violence and criminals illegally possessing firearms which they still will when you bring up your wish list of laws that only disarm law abiding citizens.

Phila PA - just had a 2 yr old killed home from outside shooting and an 11 month old shot 4x in a car - who "will not make a full recovery" - just this week

Is it lax gun laws or is it a lax judicial system. You can kill some one with a gun and only get a 25 year sentence. But then because of over crowding you get released after 13 years. Make the punishment fit all across the country.
