Same with "shatterproof" and "unbreakable" products. You really wanna test that? Hand it to a kid under 6. They'll find a way.

Too true. In my tour of duty as mom, my girls, worse than boys. I had a lovely solid maple desk and chair since I was 14. Ethan Allen. My son used it all through school. One day I came into my girls' room, the chair was in pieces, some broken in half. They were 5 & 7 years old.

It’s a rite of passage for all parents to make that discovery. Also be forewarned: you will *always* find tiny, stray LEGO blocks in the nooks & crannies of your home for the rest of your life, long after the kids grow up and move away. They’re like tribbles.
