Yesterday, I asked Ariel Hobbs why @AMarch4OurLives included a ban AND buyback of assault weapons in their Peace Plan. Hobbs answered, "As long as these harmful guns are in the community, there is a risk that gun will be used." There’s ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR A PRIVATE CITIZEN TO OWN A MILITARY GRADE AUTOMATIC RIFLE. I’m not saying all guns should be taken away. We have to start somewhere for GOD’S sake. God’s humans are being slain mostly from AR’s meanwhile some “Christians” think it’s OK 2 own AR’s.

Beyond a semi-automatic rifle, what makes an Assault weapon? Add on accessories don't change the shot of the gun. 100 round drums are bad. I get it. Fully automatic are bad. I get it. How will your laws help prevent further shootings?

Respectfully, TECHNICALLY- they’re ALL ASSAULT WEAPONS. It’s a start. Don’t play semantics. You know what guns need off the f——-g street. I hope you hug and kiss your loved one’s goodbye. You never know if they’ll be randomly shot with ANY GUN and not return to you.
